Order & Specimen Collection
Provider orders are received electronically. Our certified phlebotomists collect specimens on campus — no separate lab visit required for most tests.

Accessioning & Verification
Every specimen is logged, bar-coded, and chain-of-custody verified before processing begins. Rejection criteria are applied immediately to prevent result errors.

Analysis & QC
Automated analysers perform testing against internal and external QC standards. Critical values trigger immediate provider notification.

Pathologist Review
Complex, abnormal, and flagged results undergo pathologist review before final sign-out — adding a clinical layer beyond automated thresholds.

Secure Result Delivery
Results are delivered to providers electronically. Patients receive portal access. Critical values are called directly to the ordering clinician.

Is Synexsis Lab CLIA certified?
Yes. Synexsis Laboratory holds CLIA certification and complies with all applicable federal and state laboratory regulations, including CAP-aligned quality standards.
How fast are results available?
Most routine blood panels and urinalysis results are available same day. Molecular and culture-based tests typically range from 24–72 hours depending on specimen type.
Can my physician order directly from Synexsis?
Absolutely. Synexsis accepts orders from all campus providers and external physicians. Electronic order integration is available for campus providers.
Do you accept walk-in patients for blood draws?
Yes. Walk-in phlebotomy is available during lab hours with a valid physician order. We recommend calling ahead during peak morning hours.
Are results shared with my other campus providers?
With your consent, results are shared across the Pinnacle campus ecosystem — pharmacy, family medicine, and specialist offices all receive relevant results automatically.
